SDV Signal ("we", "us") runs this mobile notary request page. This notice explains what the request form collects, who sees it, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. There is no account and no sign-up. This is an independent matching page. We are not a notary and not the California Secretary of State.
What the form collects
When you submit a request we store:
- Location you type (ZIP, city or county).
- When you need the notary and the document type you pick.
- Email address (required).
- Phone number, only if you enter one.
- Notes you write for the notary, such as a hospital room or gate code.
- The time of the request, your browser's user-agent string, and the country your connection comes from (Cloudflare reports this). We do not store your IP address with the request.
Please don't put document contents, ID numbers or account numbers in the notes. The notary needs to see your ID in person, not in the form.
Why we collect it
Only to match your request with a local mobile notary and to answer you if you write to us. We don't use it for advertising and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Who we share it with
We share your request with at most one independent notary near you, so they can contact you about time and fee. That notary is a separate business, not us, and handles your information under their own practices once they have it. Notaries may pay us to receive requests. We do not sell your information to data brokers or advertisers, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
The page and form run on Cloudflare, which handles standard request information such as your IP address to deliver the page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. Your request is stored in the United States.
How long we keep it
A request is deleted automatically 12 months after you submit it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Access and deletion
To see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email support@sdvsignal.com from the address you used on the form. We will reply and delete it from our records. If your request was already sent to a notary, we'll tell you which one so you can ask them too.
Children
This page is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date above.
